"I've tried playing it cool But when I'm looking at you I can’t ever be brave 'Cause you make my heart race "Do you believe in fate? What about destiny? When these two people met an incoming Freshman party, they never expected that their life would take such a turn. Their parents ended up being friends who had already arranged their marriage. To who you ask? To each other. "Shot me out of the sky You're my kryptonite You keep making me weak Yeah, frozen and can't breathe "The senior male who had his whole life planned out ahead of him. He dated one of the most popular girls in school for three years. He knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with but here comes another girl, a completely different girl...crashing into his life. His parents threatened to disown him, going far as to cut his inheritance from their successful banking company if he doesn't follow their wishes. And they never make threats they cannot do, thus forcing him to succumb to their wishes. "Something’s gotta give now 'Cause I’m dying just to make you see That I need you here with me now 'Cause you've got that one thing "The freshman female wanted to be a ballerina. She was a successful dancer who wishes nothing but to thrive in her arts. Her passion for dancing has blinded her. She wants nothing to do with males. However, she has always listened to her parents wishes for they were the financial source of her tuition. Having no choice in this matter, she agreed to marry him. Their lives are now intertwined by this six months contract. After six months, he is willing to divorce her. They can walk away from all of this madness... or is it really madness?...Maybe they have accidentally stumbled upon their other half. "So get out, get out, get out of my head And fall into my arms instead I don't, I don't, don't know what it is But I need that one thing And you've got that one thing "Roleplayed by PolarisName: Ryder Hudson Age: 22 years old Gender: Male Personality: Ryder is cautious, callous, and calculating. He meticulously plans out his life, his goals, and everything he does without fail. He rarely takes chances unless he is left with no other choice. If one thinks one step ahead, Ryder is the type to think four or five steps ahead. He hates leaving things by chance and wants to control everything. He’s a hard man to crack; sometimes one would call him pretentious. He’s a loving boyfriend underneath all the icy façade. He spoils his love ones and is protective of his family. Once the barriers are broken, he’s a great friend and a person to rely on. He’s the type to listen and help those in need. However, whenever things go out order, he gets anxious and agitated until he fixes or settles them. Surprisingly, unlike many of his friends, Ryder is not a womanizer. He’s a true romantic and believes he will only spend the rest of his life with one girl he has been with for three years now. If he loves a girl, he’s easy to please as well as a huge pushover. He’ll do almost anything for her and has no problem showing his affections. History/Background: Born from a French mother and an American father, Ryder was raised to speak both English and French. He lived in France for three years before residing in Beverly Hills, California. His family has been rich for generations so he grew up pampered by his parents and relatives. He has a close relationship with his family and is usually the problem solver. He has four siblings and is the second oldest and only male in the family. When he was a senior in high school, he met Isabella in his English class. They were partners for a project, best friends for one year, and lovers for three. He loves her dearly and wants nothing more to do with any other females, making her the focus of his life. Ryder has everything within the reach of his palms. He has a perfect girlfriend, Isabella, whom he wants to marry. He goes to New York University, majoring in Business. His goal is to work under his father's company and expand it even further than its current state. However, his future plans conflicts with his father's plans for his future. Others: He hates sweets such as chocolate, candy, or pastries. He is extremely childish when it comes to eating vegetables or fruits. He loves to crack jokes to cheer people up even if it’s lame and redundant. He’s an overall nice guy unless that person is on his blacklist. Roleplayed by SisilName: Dayne White Age: 19 Gender: Female Personality: Dayne is a hard worker, threw and threw. Never has she been a slacker, she believes the only way to get anything is to work hard, bleed only then is anything worth having. Because of this thinking, Dayne has secluded herself from people in school, she works her heart out on the dance floor the only place that she truly believes that she can be herself. If people went and did the work to get to know Dayne they would find a caring sweet woman, who in all honesty wishes she could find someone to talk to about her passions, but she gave up on that long ago. Even her ballerina buddies don’t talk to her—she’s too serious they say. No fun to talk too, but Dayne only works like this because she is an avid dreamer. When she not focused on her goal, she can be found staring at the sky, on a cold night just dreaming of the day that she is what she wants to be. That all her hard work has paid off. History/Background: Dayne is the youngest of three beautiful sisters. As a preteen Dayne always felt unlike her sisters, larger in the hips, taller and a little on the pudgy side. At the age of thirteen she saw her first real life ballerina and decided that was what she wanted. She wanted to have that grace, that poise. She had been taking the classes before as a kid but she had finally the motivation to work at it—she wanted to be beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. Daynes mother works as the CEO for the beauty company her father owns and runs, because her parents are rich she always had whatever she wanted, people thought she would be the spoiled one but alas that is not the fact. Her two older sisters both became models, famous models of both their fathers company and others. Even though her sisters aren’t the nicest in the world, Dayne sticks up for them and would kill for them if needed. Others: Dayne likes to be alone a lot, allowing her time to think, or read a good book. She is a fan of classic literature such as Shakespeare and Jae Austen but can be found reading other things as well when she has down time. She cannot cook, and she doesn’t eat much sweets thought she admits she loves them when she can. But being on a diet for so long she has forgotten how great they taste.

Dayne couldn’t help but feel disgusted and filthy walking through the mesh of bodies, dancing—if you could call it dancing. They moved their hips in motions that were only meant for the bedroom, and had no sense of beat. She blamed the selection of music, all the hip hop crap that seemed to kill your brain cells and hard words of insults and slurs. How could people listen to it? How did they like it even
Perhaps an even better question would be why was she there?
Apparently parties were fun, and sense the dance studio was closed for the night she thought what the hell? And came to a party everyone was raving about at school. Of course everyone was making out, doing heaven knows what and being complete assholes. Dayne really should have seen this coming. She sighed running a hand threw her long hair hitting tangles she wished she could brush out, but alas, she had forgotten that at home. Perhaps it was time to find a relatively quiet place to sit and read her book if things didn’t get better.
Turning sharply she started to walk and wouldn’t you know, she would of course run into someone. Knocking herself to the ground along with making the other stumble to the floor. Fool, she thought, embarrassed. You knock over someone and the whole school will think your even weirder then you already are!
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to run into you…” She said quickly sitting on the floor no longer then she had too. Who knew what she just landed in, and she would rather not think about it.

Ryder had no idea why he was at this ridiculously loud party. He hated obnoxiously loud places and liked more quiet times by himself. But no, this time, Isabelle wanted to party and drink hard. Deciding to keep an eye on her, he too had to attend this party. Probably the only one not drinking because he is the designated driver, Ryder was holding a cup of orange juice on one hand as he leaned his weight against the corner wall. Smirking to himself as he sees couples grinding on each other and making out, Ryder knew he wasn't the type to be openly affectionate. He loves kind gestures but not these kind.
"Come on baby, relax. You're so stiff. Come dance with me," Isabelle came over, running her fingers down his biceps. Ryder was dressed in a nice dress shirt covered by a black vest and jeans. Standing 5'11, he hovers around his petite girl friend.
"Dancing really isn't my thing," he whispered in her ears as his fingers tangle in her strawberry blonde hair. Her blue eyes looked into his and Isabelle let out a giggle.
"Fine, then I'm going to dance my heart out. Don't go with another girl, kay?"
Ryder smiled as she left and realized that his orange juice was almost finished. Heading to the table for a refill and avoiding the massive bodies against each other, he didn't realized what happen until he hit the floor. When he looked up, he saw a flustered blonde girl and his orange juice staining her clothes. Frowning as he got up, Ryder tossed the red cup into a nearby bin and lightly grabbed her wrist. "Hey, your outfit is stained," he yelled over the music. It was loud and he doubted she could hear much of his words. He quickly ushered her to another side with less people.
"You should go to the bathroom. Can I do anything for you?" he asked realizing that the girl by herself in this party. "Are you alone? Do you wanna head outside for a second? I can't hear you," he nudge his head towards the door. Usually he wouldn't be talking to strangers but he felt bad for staining her shirt. Who knew how much it cost?

Looked at the guy trying to hear what he was saying but she couldn’t. If it was possible the music started to blarring louder and she just stood trying to understand what the cute guy was saying. He said something about bathroom, then outside? Before she could really protest she was outside were it was less loud and she could hear her ears ringing.
“Well that was an end to a rather stupid night.” She sighed looking down at her shirt frowning slightly before looking at him still a little flustered. “Sorry about knocking you over…I wasn’t paying attention, and like normal I became a klutz unintentional.” She explained looking at him for a moment before realizing he was a senior. Well crap, she pushed a senior to the ground. Now she really was in for it.
“Your not going too…like tell the whole school or anything are you?” Dayne asked biting her lip.
“Wait why’d you want me out here, I couldn’t hear you in the death room.” She askd hoping it wasn’t bad news that he was about to explain to her.

When they were finally outside, he was able to relax a lot more with the oxygen flowing more freely and less carbon dioxide cluttering the room. Taking a deep breath, he stretched his arms and turned to the girl who looked as if her life was about to be cut. She started explaining and he shook his head. "It's fine, I'm not gonna make your life a living hell just because I fell onto the floor," he chuckled. She was so frigidity that he might have thought she had a stroke or something worse.
"My orange juice stained your clothes. I just wanted to let you know and it's so loud in there, you probably didn't hear a word I said," he responded. "Are you alone? I didn't get you into trouble, did I?" he paused after pausing for a second. He didn't want her boyfriend to worry or punch him because he was out here alone with her.
Realized that he hasn't even introduced himself, Ryder pulled out his hand to shake hers. "I'm Ryder by the way. Sorry for all the confusing back there. Parties aren't really my thing," he admitted. He look a rather long look at her, noticing her soft features and how proportional she was although he shouldn't be checking out another girl. Speaking of another girl...
He forgot all about Isabelle and her words. Hopefully she wasn't looking for him right now. Running a hand through his hair, Ryder quickly checked the time and realized that they should be getting back. It's past two in the morning and Isabelle was already wasted.
"Hey, sorry about the orange juice. I gotta get going but do you need anything before I leave?" Before she could answer, he heard a shriek and knew what was about to happen. Isabelle stomped over and folded her arms. He hated to make a scene in front of people and knew they had to leave...fast. "Hey calm down, I just spilled a drink on her. Nothing happened, trust me," he cooed, holding her into his arms. Drunk girls were impossible to talk to especially if they already made their decision. "Sorry about this," he whispered to the blonde as he ushered Isabelle away. "It was nice meeting you. I'll see you around."
In a hurry, he held his girlfriend's waist and led her away before she did any harm to the stranger he just met.

“I’m alone and I was just heading out when I ran into you…” Dayne got to say before the shriek of the girl who seemed to be Ryder’s girlfriend rang threw the air. Dayne backed away slightly not wanting to create trouble, she hadn’t asked to be taken outside and there was no real harm down—other then her sweater but that could be replaced. It wasn’t a big deal.
Before Dayne could introduce herself though he had his girlfriend by the waist and turned to look at her with a smile, a kind smile, “I’m Dayne by the way.” She murmured quietly before he was gone. Once he left Dayne headed out from the party, deciding she would just walk and not have her parents come get her. It might have been a stupid decision but she had to do something and they wouldn’t come get her they were in a meeting and her sisters would probably make her stay longer.
It was 2 in the morning and she had heard what happened later the drunk males looked for free woman to get with and that wasn’t going to happen.
With that thought she started the short walk home.

[Skip ahead. A few months later. December 21st, 2014]
Ryder was never late, of course he had to be punctual to this stupid arrange marriage meeting. He couldn't understand why his parents didn't even bother to consult with him. They just went along with the idea and they even threaten to disown him. Disown their only son. He didn't understand why this arrange marriage was so important to them. All he knew was that if he didn't abide to their wishes, he was screwed. His plans are a mess, his future looks dark and he has nothing planned out. What kind of girl wants to marry a guy they haven't even met? Ryder was furious by the second but he kept all the anger behind his facade smile as they were being seated at the restaurant.
The White were running a bit behind schedule due to the traffic so the Hudson ordered a table and sat down first.
"Oh Ryder," his mother gushed happily. "You're going to love her. She's lovely, beautiful, charismatic, everything you would want in a girl." His mother nodded as if she knew everything about his fiance. Ryder growled in response. He didn't want a new girl friend. Heck, he doesn't want anyone else but Isabelle in his life. Although she changed a bit since they met, she was still the kind girl he always want to look after and take care of. Now she's being replaced because his mother says so?
Out. Ra. Geous. He already loathed the girl for agreeing to meet with him. Was she that desperate for a guy to agree upon an arrange marriage? What kind of lowly person would do this? Because of her, he has to give up everything.
"Mother, you cannot be serious. An arrange marriage is old school. I don't need you to choose a girl for me."
"Nonsense, love. Dayne is perfect. She's going to be a ballerina, I heard!" His mother exclaimed happily, clapping her hands. "Be on your best behavior, my dear."
Rolling his eyes, Ryder sighed. "Some Ballerina," he muttered ruefully. "Sounds like a spoil little princess to me."

“Now Dayne be polite.” Her mother said as the car was slowly inching its way through the traffic, apparently it was rush hour and they hadn’t taken it into consideration, Dayne hated to be late. And this was driving her batty, alone with the fact her future was being dictated. Sure she would still get to do what she wanted, dancing and reading but know she would have to live with a man she had no idea who he was. Though the name was familiar for some odd reason, but Dayne was never good with names so she shrugged the thought away.
“Don’t worry mother I’ll be the little princess you want.” She mumbled leaning her head against the window sighing, closing her eyes and replaying the book she had been reading before the god forsaken drive. She should have brought it with her.
“Don’t sound like the world is falling apart. This is good for you, not having any boyfriends in high school, no friends really it’ll be good for you to have some more social life. Ryder is a pleasant fellow and very handsome.” Her mother went on about how great the guy was, and she lost count about how many times she made sure to mention how beautiful he was. Looks weren’t everything. Even if her family was fascinated with them, and that was apperenly all that mattered.
“He’s a good friend of the family too, I’m rather disappointed that you havnt met before but alas life is short and quick.” Her father piped in looking her way for a moment giving a smile that was meant to be kind, but just kinda turned to a grimace.
The only reason Dayne was even agreeing to this madness was the fact that she had been threatened her tuition fund to be taken away from her. Without that fund her scholarships and money would be gone and she would have nothing to help pay for the school, her lessons not even where she was living. Her parents were cruel people when it came to things like this. Why they hadn't gotten her older sisters was beyond her. Probably cause they had interest in boys and Dayne had naught.
Soon they found themselves at the gach restaurant and Dayne tried to have a pleasant smile on her face as her mother and father greeted the Hudson's. Dayne was looking at her feet just trying to make sure she could walk in a straight line—thanks to being slightly sore from hard lessons the night before and being so mad about the whole thing her whole mind set was off.
“This Is Dayne White.” Her mother said and she looked up before she let her mouth hang open.
I thought that name was slightly familiar…” Dayne gasped.

Keep cool. I can find a way out of this. I just need time. If Ryder was good at anything, he was great at convincing himself. This was the first time he was left with no choice in the matter and it has troubled him to no end. The waiter placed bread and butter in the center of the center and water for everyone until they started to order. Ryder leaned against his chair, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his jeans. He had to dress nicely for this occasion. His hair spiked like usual, his earrings on his ears were removed. He was wearing a long sleeve gray dress shirt underneath the black coat and blue scarf he had on. The snow certainly didn't help the traffic and rush hour.
"It's six forty three, I hope they're fine," his mother said looking around.
"Don't worry dear, I'm sure they're fine. Oh they're here," his father finally spoke up. He finally looked up from contemplating and his smile immediately dropped the moment he saw her. How many coincidences were there in the world? When his mother talked about Dayne White, he never thought to consider it was the same girl he met a few months ago.
"Ryder Hudson," Ryder stood up and pretended that he never met her. He held his hand out to shake hers with his smile back on. He was going to make her life miserable. Did she already knew him? Is that why she pretended to bump into him? "It's very nice to meet you."
His mother got up beaming, she looked as if they were the saviors of the world. "I haven't seen you guys in so long! We have so much things to catch up. I'm so glad we decided to go through this. Dayne is gorgeous, I'd love to have her in my family."
His father pulled Mr. White into a hug and they looked like old friends who were reunited after years. Ryder noticed that they were the only one happy in this situation. Ryder peered around and noticed that there were only four chairs.
"Mother, did you only reserve this place for four?" he asked which prompted his mother to turn to look at him.
"That's right. I haven't met them in so long and you kids should get to know each other by yourself. Give you guys some alone time to get to know each other," she winked and he rolled his eyes. "That table over there with the candles in the middle. That's yours. Go ahead," she waved her hands at them.
Ryder looked over at the corner. They were completely alone. This was a high end restaurant with very dim lights and he didn't expect there to be any candles as a centerpiece. It looked quite romantic and one would take his girl out for dinner but this girl in front of him was not Isabelle. He knew he couldn't mess up in front of his parents. "Come on," he finally sounded as if he took notice of the girl. He gently led her by a hand at the middle of her back. He pulled out her chair and sat down on his. There were rose pedals surrounding the candles that were the brightest source of light. He looked her into the eyes and she was beautiful. He couldn't find his words, he didn't know how to start until the waiter came over to pass out their menu.
"Can I get you anything to drink?" the waiter asked.
"I'd like a glass of red wine," he replied. He needed a lot of alcohol if he was going to sit through this awkward night. Ryder looked through his menu when the waiter left and held his sigh.
How can I start? We've met before, right? You were at that one Freshman party. Why did you agree to this stupid arrangement? He could have said all of those things to her but before he knew it, he blurted it out.
"I cannot marry you."

Dayne kept her mouth shut as the parents seemed to get talk, it had been years. She hadn’t even remember them to be honest, why hadn’t Ryder and her talked or met before this. Well, they had met before this but it was more of a splash and leave. She still had the sweater trying to get the juice stain out of it. It had been her favourite so she wasn’t about to let someone throw it away.
Taking another breath she looked at Ryder and did a curtsy, to please her parents before introducing herself once more sense he seemed to be acting like they had never met before. At the mention of the table to themselves she sighed, leave it to parents to make it even more awkward then it already was.
At the table she took her seat shooting a look to her parents who gave her a dirty look before talking with there close friends again. “Just water for me thanks.” She told the waiter, she craved something stronger but she had to keep her figure and keeping her figure and soberness was more important than this stupid scam.
As she was scanning the menu he blurted out what they both were thinking and she looked up at him for a moment before sighing heavily and looked back at the menu and looked at him with a frown.
“Well, do we really have a choice Ryder.” She said in a drawl voice. “It wasn’t my idea, but I guess you can’t because of um Isebella was her name correct?” she asked as the waiter came back with there drinks and she took a sip of her water slightly sad.
“Before you go blaming me, I want to say I really didn’t know who you were at that party if you think I did.” She added looking down again kinda nervous for some reason.

He scanned the menu, not feeling really hungry tonight. He thought of getting something light and not too heavy even if light for him means heavy for everyone else. As he saw a waiter passed by, he stopped him in time. "I'd like crispy crab wontons and a chicken pomodoro pasta, thank you." He looked up for Dayne to take her orders before the waiters took their menu and left them alone.
"No, I don't have a choice in this matter," he replied to her statement. "You can convince your parents to hold off the marriage. What's the worse thing they can do to their little girl?" Not buy her another purse? He has to sacrifice his whole career and future if he spoke against this marriage. He took a gulp of his red wine, not feeling better any moment.
"Isabelle. I cannot leave her." he sincerely said. "You're a lovely girl, I know you probably don't want to marry me. Maybe we can make the best of this." He thought for a second how it'll work.
"Let me ask you. Do you want to be in this marriage with a stranger? If not, we can try to avoid this thing. Just give me half a year of your time and then you'll be a free," he said thinking his plans over. He'll make this work. "We can trick our parents into thinking that we're married. But to each of our own, I won't bother you. And you don't bother me."

“I’ll have the garlic chicken and a salad.” Dayne mentioned before giving the waiter her menu and looking to Ryder again listening intently to what he had to say, she understood mostly what he said but what he said made her slightly infuriated. Little girl? What did she think she was, some brat that was spoiled?
“You think I’m some brat don’t you.” She hissed crossing her arms over her chest calming her nerves before she really embarrassed herself—though it wouldn’t surprise her in the least if she did.
“If I don’t marry you I lose everything I have been working for. I won’t have the money to go to my school, and I would work for it but with school and everything but I don’t have the time for it.” She paused running a hand threw her bangs. “There is no way of getting out of it. I’ve tried to think of every possible way…” she paused looking at him with a sad smile.
“And it’s not you it’s like you said, I don’t want to marry someone I don’t know. It might have worked in the past but it’s the future know, it’ll just end up hurting Isabella and you. I don’t want to be the cause of that.” She frowned looking down again. Listening to his plan, half a year with him? Well it was better then forever.
“It might work, but my parents are very old school. Once we got a divorce, I may never be able to get married again.” She trailed off shaking her head. “No matter, if it’d work maybe we could both still have what we wanted.”

"I don't think you're spoiled per say..." he said, he too was a little pampered. He didn't want to get on her bad side already so he kept his mouth shut. Girls were dangerous creatures if he said the wrong thing, they would explode. They're like a trap that he doesn't want to step on. It seems like she was in the same position as he was...losing everything they've achieved if they didn't go with their parents ways. It was utterly ridiculous.
"You won't get married ever again?" he said incredulously. His parents weren't that strict even if they're in over their head most of the times. "I'm really sorry." But this was the only way he could abide to his parents wishes for a short amount of time.
"But living in the same house, possibly, for a couple of months. We should get to know each other," he said just as their meals were placed on the table. "So tell me something you like to do. I'd like to get to know you better. Maybe we could be friends," Ryder said kindly. If he was to tolerate her for a couple of months, there was no way he was gonna be miserable. He might as well make the best of it.

Don't let yourself be blinded by fear or anger. Everything is only as it is.

“It’s fine. I’ve never dated before anyways, many people think I’m…” she paused looking down at her food not finishing her sentence. Strange….Was on the tip of her tongue but it slipped back down her throat and she decided to not finish it. Better to keep some secrets to herself.
“I suppose that will be the case won’t it.” Causally Dayne looked over her shoulder to see the parents looking at the both of them expectedly. When they saw her glance they pretended nothing had happened, sighing she looked back at him, taking another sip of water followed by a bite of her chicken.
After swallowing she thought about his question looking seriously at her meat and trying to figure out what she would want to say to him about what she liked. “I dance and I read. That’s what I enjoy dong, though my life is my dancing.” She paused again. “I’m sure your mother has already mentioned me being a ballerina correct?” she asked tilting her head to the side.
“What do you like to do?” Dayne asked suddenly really nervous, no boy had really asked what she liked if they did she had never noticed before, no her head was to far up in the clouds or stuck to the ground in her training.

"You've never dated before?" he chuckled. "You need to get out more." There would be tons of guys who are interested in her. She just had to look and find him. He knew that she was attractive and it was really too bad that she had to marry him without experiencing the dating life. "Hey, since we're agreeing to this whole makeshift marriage thing, how about I'll be your pretend boyfriend for a bit? At least then, I won't feel so bad for making you do this," he said quickly. He knew Isabelle couldn't find out, but she wouldn't...
"Just live a little, you'll see. There's many things to the world than just being a ballerina," he said. Since she reads and dance, she had a variety of hobbies. It made her less bland than she was before when all he thought she would do in life was to shop. When she switch the question to him, he paused before answering.
"I like astronomy, studying the stars and the galaxy. I also like talking walks at night, reading, sleeping. You know, the usual guy stuff," he muttered waving his hand like it was no big deal. "Oddly enough, I like cooking," he added with a smile. "So what's your favorite book?"
