(So I'm just gonna continue from our last posts then! And good job saving every single post down! O: I'm really impressed!)
"Hans, this is Annabelle," Lucas said as he put his hand on Annabelle's back to usher for her to take a seat on the bed beside Hans. "Annabelle, this is Hans. He's only 10 but he survived the warzone just like you," Lucas continued on with a gentle smile plastered on his face. Hans, on the other hand, seemed intimidated. He was staring on the floor, feeling confused about everything. This guy, yes, he was familiar. He was sure that his name was Lucas or something of the sort. Yes, that's right! Lucas. Lucas, James and Kelly found them, him and Cass and the others. And then they were in the car, excited, and somewhat relieved. But then, what happened? Wait, where's Cass? Jack? Bess? Kim? Greg?
"W-W-Where is everyone...?" His voice was soft, almost as if he was only exhaling air. Lucas's eyes turned from Hans to the floor, and then closed them before he answered, "They're helping Miss Hutcherson with some chores. Don't worry, they are all safe and alright."
Hans felt some sense of security from Lucas's words, but still, there was this tingling feeling within him. What happened? All he could remember was the riding in the car. And then nothing else. What happened? Wait. Soldiers, guns. Pointing at them. He could remember. And then. Blood. Blood everywhere. Bodies. Bodies of the soldiers.
As the memories gushed back into the small boy, he began to tremble, eyes opened wide as if he had just seen a ghost. "Hans? Hans, are you alright? Hans!" Lucas called out for the boy, and it was at that instant when Hans finally jolted back to reality. But before he could rearrange his thoughts, Lucas went on, with things Hans could not ever imagine hearing. "Hans, Anna, I still believe that you two are blessed kids, born with a gift bestowed by God. You see, Hans, Anna has powers just like you. Superhuman abilities."
Hans didn't know what to feel from that. For one, he was terrified that his visions were actually true, that he actually did unleash his powers before them, before Lucas. Then the deaths he saw in those visions, they must be true. But on the other hand, wait, someone else has it too? He's not alone? They were two overwhelmingly conflicted feelings, that the young boy did not know how to react to them at all. He merely stared at Lucas, with a light frown fixed upon his forehead.
(Hummm... Sucky post I feel. T.T Sorry, probably cause I'm rusty now about RPing. I'll try to post better later on! ><)

((Thank you very much. I moved them over when TM was dying. Just in time too. And it's totally fine. Youdid a pretty good job for coming back to a few month old RP))
Anna was worried for a moment that Hans was about to pass out again. He got so pale and started trembling as if a murderer were in the room. Poor baby. She remembered being that frightened when she was young. She was always afraid that everyone would hate her for who she really was. Beyond curly hair, she had always feared that she was a monster. A time bomb just waiting to explode and kill everyone around her. But when she met Lucas and everyone else, she learned that things were not really so black and white. Even though her loss of control had caused the death of Lucas’ loved one, he had not hated her. He didn’t send her away. Instead, he vested himself in helping her get better and become stable. And now she was here. She had the chance to help someone just like her. It was all a bit overwhelming. Annabelle practically teared up at the thought. But she could not right now. That might cause poor little Hans to worry that he had been the source of her tears. Annabelle cleared her throat slightly. She didn’t know what to say. Here she had been all eager to help Hans and she had not gotten a thought in her head about what to say. Anna attempted, “Hans, I, um. When I was littler like you I had trouble- like you. But now I learned how to fix it and make it better. I can keep control and I think I can help you to do that too. Would you like that?” That should do it. At least, she hoped so. Otherwise she had ruined everything. Meanwhile, the rest of the group was attempting to help with chores. Not to say that they were bad at it. After all, they had been taking care of themselves for plenty of time now. Although, they were all pretty excited to be aboard an airship that they were about as much help as they were a hindrance. Cass was especially excited to be trying something new. The whole experience was brand-new and ever so exciting. She was bit nervous about Hans, but she had been assured that he was just fine. And that she was to keep out of his business for a little bit. Then she (and the others) had been assigned some chores to keep them occupied. Bess and Jack had been told to help Kelly with the boxes. Cass, Greg, and Kim were sent to work in the kitchen with Mrs. Hutcherson. Jack did not mind carrying boxes too terribly. The work was easy and relatively mindless. He lifted a crate filled with food. He commented, “Okay, I’ll take this into the kitchen.” Without waiting for an answer, Jack hefted the box up and slightly stumbled towards the kitchen. He put the crate on the table, “Here you go, guys.” Cass chirped, “Okay thanks!” Kim squealed, “More food! Yay!” The two skipped around the table, examining the box. Mrs. Hutcherson instructed, “Girls, lay all the food out on the table then get back to the dishes. Hurry up.” The girls agreed and started sorting out the food. Cass said, “Bread.” Kim announced, “Beans!” Cass squealed, “Orange.” “Another bread.” “Apple.”

When Annabelle spoke, Hans turned to her, unable to believe her words at first. How could it be, that someone else also has powers like him? It almost seemed like a miracle. Something he had been craving for so long, now so easily upon reach. With just a word. Yes. But he couldn't say it for some reasons. Something still plagued him. What happened earlier, he needed to know. But he couldn't ask. What's wrong with his mouth, his throat, no voice would come out. And he hated that feeling. He wanted to see Cass and the others and know that they hadn't hated him, for what he did, but he was too scared to ask. He wanted to just leave.
He turned back down, burying his face with his silver hair. Lucas knew that face, Hans must have remembered about what happened earlier. Taking in a deep breath, he put his hand on Hans' shoulders. "I didn't realize this would be such a big burden on you, Hans. I'm sorry. But Annabelle will always be here for you when you need help, okay? Same to all of us here. Kelly has been worried sick about you and is the one who's been tending to you while you sleep all this time. James too, always asking Kelly how you're doing even though he's too hardheaded to come in and see himself."
Lucas paused for a while, turning back to Annabelle with a smile and a nod, telling her thank you for her concern for him and her kind words, and that perhaps Hans will respond to her offer soon, but not now. "Come now, Hans. Miss Hutcherson has prepared a wonderful meal outside for us. Everyone's waiting for you to start the meal. Lets not let the others wait while they're hungry, right? You too, Anna, I bet you're already hungry as usual right?" Lucas said, chuckling softly as he stood up from his chair.
Bess didn't even need to do much carrying because Jack had volunteered to do them all. In the end all she needed to do was to carry one small box with some vegetables, which wasn't tiring nor heavy at all. After she put the box down, she quickly ran to Miss Hutcherson. She liked being near her, and doing the things she do. After all, she was usually the one doing those sort of things back when they were hiding down there. But Miss Hutcherson seemed so much better at it that Bess sort of taken an admiration towards the woman.
Greg looked at the boxes along with Cass and Kim, and sort of pouted a little. He would have liked something like meat, which was something he never had since a long time ago. "Don't we have sausages and ham and meatballs?" He whined. Mark and Alice was nearby, already bringing the prepared food to the table, as it was a daily routine for them to help. When they got back again though, Mark couldn't help but head over to the three, and confronted them. "Hey! Stop whining! Why should we even give you food if you're not helping out at all?!" Mark declared loudly, glaring at Greg mostly cause of his whining. Alice merely stood behind Mark, not making any comments but just timidly hid in his shadows.
"Is the meal almost done, Miss Hutcherson? I'm so hungry I could eat a whole cow," Lucas stated when he stepped into the kitchen. Standing beside him was Hans, silent and awkward. He was staring at the floor, arms folded in a way that portrayed his guilt and uneasiness. He was still afraid to see the others, but Lucas being beside him, and Annabelle, sort of made him feel better. But still, he didn't dare to turn up to look, to look at Cass, Jack, Bess, Kim and Greg.

Annabelle’s face lit up when Hans finally returned her gaze. For a moment she thought that he was going to speak and everything would be solved in an instant. But he didn’t. He just stared. Anna’s brows knitted together. He was so little. And so sad. She wanted to scoop him up in his arms and hold him. Although, she doubted she could support the boy’s weight (she had little upper body strength to speak of) and she also worried that might send him into a panic. He seemed so shy and fragile. One wrong move could break him. A soft smile returned to Annabelle’s lips when Lucas gave her a nod of approval. She nodded back, glad to be in on the silent conversation for once. When Lucas stood up, she quickly followed in suit, moving her chair to the side of the room so it was well out of Hans’ way if he decided to join them. She beamed at Lucas, “Really hungry. I haven’t eaten since….lunch.” Hopefully their calm everyday conversation would comfort poor, sweet Hans and convince the child to join them for dinner. His friends did miss him dearly. Cass asked after him about every six seconds. Okay, maybe it was a bit of an exaggeration, but it felt like she did. Then Kim would chime in as well, because she was a little kid, so she copied her questions from others. Miss Hutcherson paused in her peeling of the carrots to find that the young girl- Bess- was now standing next to her. She had noticed the girl’s apparent fascination with food preparation. That made Miss Hutcherson ponder what kind of past this girl had. After all, most young girls were not quite so absorbed by food. Well, not any girls she could remember. Maybe things were different nowadays. Or perhaps the little girl was just interested in a motherly image. Maybe her mother had passed away while Bess was young. Miss Hutcherson smiled, “See, you always slice along this way and keep your hand up here so you don’t slice it. You only make that mistake once.” She chortled to herself, though slicing carrots was not particularly fascinating. Cass opened her mouth to admonish Greg about how meat was not so easy to transport as fruit was when that boy who had insisted that he was the boss showed up. Mark. Well, some things were going to change around here. She did not like being bossed. Especially by someone so mean. With a capital m. Cass shouted, indignant, “He is helping! Just ‘cause you weren’t looking doesn’t mean he wasn’t helping. And he’s just a little kid. Meanie.” She stuck her tongue out at him. She would not have some stranger yelling at her friend. Even if Greg was only a little kid, he was like family. They all were. And the thought of that only motivated her to be even angrier with Mark. He was insulting her family. If he thought about bossing again, she would give him a good hit on the head. Kim meanwhile, frowned at Mark. He was a doo-doo head, she decided. But she was not about to get between him and Cass. So she just continued with what she was doing, moving the food and the box off the table as fast as she could to keep Mark from getting any angrier about how they weren’t helping. Just because he was a meanie did not meant that she was going to make what he said true. Cass immediately switched focus when she heard Lucas arrive and ask about dinner. She turned to announce that dinner was almost ready when she spotted Hans. Cass beamed, “Hans! We missed you!” She ran over to greet him, barely stopping short of tackling him. She only stopped because she was afraid of getting whacked by his elbows. Cass proclaimed, “You missed the ship go up. It was like whoosh!” She raised her arms above her head, as if that explained the ship’s motion. Cass continued, “Then Kim told some bad jokes,” Kim interjected, “They weren’t bad!” Cass continued, “And, um, some other stuff happened…. Then Mark was being mean…..Aaaaaand now we’re makin’ dinner. Then we’re gonna eat it all. That’s everything.” She nodded. Cass had decided that she still liked Hans, even if he was…different, so she had made the decision to not talk about the whole thing with the soldiers when he woke up. And she was sticking to the plan. Miss Hutcherson replied, having now only gotten the chance after Cass’ exclamation, “The foods almost all done. Just a few carrots left. Help set the table then sit down. Go ahead.” She gestured with her chin at the table, as if they needed prompting. James appeared in the doorway behind Mark and Alice. He was carrying what appeared to be large pots in each hand. He barely stopped himself from running over the two kids. And that was mostly luck, as the pots blocked most of his view. James grumbled, “Not to complain, but can I get to the table. Sooner rather than later.” The pots were awkward to balance and he was not about to face the shame of dropping one on the floor.

(Sorry it took me a while! ><) Mark didn't like Cass at all. He knew it the first time he saw her entering the airship. She was the type of person who would defy him, when no one else would dare to. She was the one who could raise a rebellion to go against him, when no one else could. Glaring at the girl who's still shorter than him by half a head, his attention was stolen away when Lucas came into the kitchen. He'll let her slide this time, after all, Mark liked Lucas enough not to cause any trouble for the man. But he won't be so forgiving next time. When Cass ran over to him right away, Hans was flustered and still worried, but he certainly didn't expect that enthusiasm from her. Overwhelming relieved that he was wrong, Hans was looking downwards while Cass spoke on. Lucas smiled gently at the sight, and softly patted the young boy's head. "Go ahead and help them set up everything, Hans. Then we'll have dinner together," Lucas said, giving Hans a little push at the back as he turned away, leaving the kitchen, leaving Hans with the others. Feeling a tear or two forming around his eyelids, Hans turned up to Cass with a smile and teary eyes. "We're going to eat them all!" He repeated her words with a large grin. He was truly happy. Bess stared at Miss Hutcherson as she sliced the carrots, her hands imitating the very action. When she was done, she smiled and bowed at Miss Hutcherson, as if telling her thanks, and went to bring the last few dishes out to the dining room. Hans noted that, and turned to help as well. Just then, James, or at least Mark thought it was James before he spoke, appeared behind him and Alice with loads of pots, obviously too tall for the man to handle. "Too short to carry all of them, James?" Mark teased as he took a step back to let the man pass. Alice, on the other hand, quickly withdrew from her spot, and then ran to Anna's side. Kelly carried a few more pots with herself as she walked to the kitchen. Sure, James was carrying more than she did, but as usual it was because he asked for more than he could handle. Sighing at his idiocy, she went ahead and put the pots on the now cleared table. Since James still had the pots with him, she walked past him and actually gave him a little push in the back. "Hurry up, dumbass," she mumbled. It was just a little prank which was followed by Mark's comment, but she was pretty sure that wouldn't actually make him fall. (On a side note, I might make the timeskip in the next post. Or if you want, you can do the timeskip. (

(Just remember to note a few things: Hans and Anna are pretty close friends now, and they have this sort of teacher-student relationship obviously. Hans probably gets a little bit more talkative now. Mark has a crush on Cass, and sort of a love-hate relationship with her, can be one-sided, haha. Alice probably likes Jack. And... What else? Oh yeah, Cass has a crush on Lucas. Kelly and James can be married already for the sake of lols? Haha. And... Well yeah. Almost the gist of things.)

Cass squealed in agreement, beaming back at him, “Eat ‘em all!” She grabbed his hand and dragged him after her. Cass explained, “We’re setting out silverware now. You do forks.” She handed him a handful of forks. Cass turned to Kim, “You do spoons.” She passed the younger girl a handful of spoons. Cass chirped, “Greg gets napkins.” She grabbed a bunch of napkins and passed them along. Cass picked up a handful of knives, “And I get knifes…kneeves…knives! ‘Cause I’m oldest.” She started to skip towards the table, but stopped, considering the knives in her hand. She walked carefully over, putting one knife next to each plate. Kim followed after with the spoons. Kim queried, “Shouldn’t we have let Greg to napkins first.” Cass frowned. That was probably right. But she had not eaten with proper table manners as long as she could remember, so she was not really sure the significance either way. Cass replied promptly, “Uh, no. Because napkins are first. So they go on top so you can get ‘em first.” Kim nodded, she was pretty much going to agree with whatever explanation Cass came up with. And she always came up with one. Sooner or later. Then James stumbled forward, barely regaining his balance with the pots. He finally half-dropped them on the table, heaving a breath. James grumbled, “Kelly.” He glowered at Mark as well, “Don’t you make fun of me. You weren’t helping very much either.” Still, James followed after Kelly, knowing there were more things only a strong man like him could help with. Cass and Kim giggled, enjoying watching James get made fun of. After all, he was so grumpy, it was funny to see him teased. And so it went. Routines blurred together. Miss Hutcherson taught Bess the fine arts of cooking, enjoying the competent aid in the kitchen. James quarreled constantly with Kelly, but he never could seem to find the correct source for her incessant nagging- nor did he improve his attitude for the most part. Mark fought with Cass. Kim and Greg trailed around after the older kids, always imitating. Kim told silly jokes. Jack displayed more and more magic tricks each day. Cass dragged Hans after her on all her adventures. But for as many things that remained the same, just as many changed. Kim’s jokes improved. Jack found more interest in combat than magic tricks, which Alice found a peculiar interest in. Cass continuously insisted that she needed to learn how to defend herself to grow up to be just like Lucas. She also insisted that Lucas train her, but she had yet to explain why. Hans spoke up more, finally stepping up a bit from the frightened child he was only a few years previous. Mark’s teasing was often followed by nosy questions and hanging on to Cass’ limbs. Anna and Hans could often be found chatting for hours on end. James decided the best way to get Kelly off his back was to marry her, although he had experienced pretty limited success. Cass stretched her hands above her head, waking up from her nap. She was not normally one for naps, but everyone had been occupied. Lucas was off on the ratlines and refused to let her join him. Hans was training with Anna. And thus went her two main forms of company. So she had taken a nap. Probably not the best use of her time, but she had heard that sleep helped with growing and she could not have Hans outgrow her. No way. Cass ran a hand through her hair in attempt to tame a few knots, but really did not put much effort into it. Cass stepped out her door to meet face-to-face with Kim. She sighed, this was becoming a more regular occurrence by the day. Cass said, “Really? How long did you wait there?” Kim smiled, “Only a few minutes.” Cass tried to step around the girl, but her path was blocked. Kim exclaimed, “Guess the password.” Cass answered, “Pineapple.” Kimm shook her head, “I’ll give you a hint. What goes quick and touches the ground, is on top of the waves, but never drowns?” Cass dramatically put her hand to her chin, thinking. Fast. On the ground. Can’t drown. Cass shrugged, “A turtle?” Kim laughed, “Nope!” Cass mock-scratched her head, “I don’t know.” Kim grinned, “A shadow!” Cass nodded her approval, “Very clever. Thanks for keeping me on my toes.” Kim stepped aside, “I don’t think that counts as guessing the password, I had to tell you.” Cass replied, “I’m going.” With that, she stepped around the girl and continued on her way. Behind her, she could hear Kim skipping off. Cass continued on stopping by the room where she could usually find Hans (and Anna too). She knocked once on the door as she opened it, “Hey, Hans?”
