Rhydian was entirely uncomfortable the entire time he was on the dance floor. He danced a little not wanting to be rude, but he mostly let the girl, Paige, do her own thing up on him instead. Didn't help the comfort level, and he had to wonder what people, like his brother, found attractive about girls writhing around like this. It wasn't even dancing.
Attempting to look back at the table, Rhydian sighed in disappointment as he couldn't see his friends in the least. It was too crowded and they were too far in on the dance floor. He saw Jasper a few people away dancing with a different girl than he had remembered, typical. Otherwise, it was a bunch of unfamiliar faces. Except...
There was Veronique and Avery. Really, he should go /thank/ her for such an awkward night. Paige, noticing where Rhydian's attention had gone, looked up just in time to see Veronique stomping on her boyfriend's foot. Her expression immediately changed and Rhydian knew something was wrong, so he followed the stomping girl over to Veronique and Avery. Of course his one reaction was, "You have a boyfriend?"
It was ill fated though as Paige was already grabbing at Veronique's hair. Rhydian did his best to intervene, grabbing Paige to pull her off of Veronique, but douchebag had plans of his own, "You were with my girlfriend, faggot?!" This statement made Rhydian look up just in time to be punched in the face, which made him release Paige who was back on Veronique.
Just as douche nozzle pulled back for another punch, he was sucker punched from the side, "That's my brother you shit." Jasper to the rescue. Sort of. He was only making it worse really as he immediately got into a wrestling match of sorts both men trying to get the other onto the ground.
Of course as in most clubs, the fight was short lived a few big men known as bouncers immediately intervened, pulling everyone off each other -not before Jasper could spit on the couple. The bouncers removed the couple from the club while keeping the friends inside, so they wouldn't go after each other again. "Can't you guys ever come here without getting in trouble?" Rhydian recognized the bouncer asking, it was Hunter. The one who had let them in. He assumed this was not a first for Veronique and Jasper since they had both seemed to frequent this place.
Jasper of course added, "Where would be the fun in that?" To which Rhydian rolled his eyes. As Hunter received an all clear in his ear piece that the couple had left, he motioned with his hand toward the door, "You all gotta leave. Now." Jasper was first out, followed by his brother. With a smirk he turned to his friends, "So where next, mates?" "Are you kidding?! Was the only reaction Rhydian could manage.

“Just for the record, I didn’t throw any punches this time.” Avery stated walking out of the Club downing her Scotch before Hunter could take away her glass. She had paid for it, damn it all to hell if she was going to get rid of her nice Scotch. As of the recent events that had been placed in the past few moments Avery had to laugh lightly at what had all gone down.
First, Avery had gotten dragged to the dance floor, nothing wrong with that dancing wasn’t something she hated. Though she had to admit she had the grace of a hippo if anyone compared her someone like Jules or someone, but she could move her hips and arms. That’s how people danced these days. No grace, just move slutty and to the music.
And while she had gotten her groove back that couple had caused a riot. Well, maybe a riot was too strong of a word but the fight wasn’t too bad, though Avery had been itching to punch the guy in the face when he had hit up on her friend but alas, Jasper had gotten all the glory for the fight for saving his brother.
Was a shame, she wanted to hit someone but no matter. She at least wasn’t the one to blame for them getting kicked out when the night was still young.
“Well, as of another club I’m game for anything. I hardly had enough alcohol to come to grips that as of tomorrow I am going to have to listen to dumb teachers drag on about chemistry and other blah stuff that causes me to yawn and fall asleep in class.” Avery said in a low drawl. “I don’t think we really have even begun to have a good time, would be a shame to end it all know. Don’t you think?”

It didn't take too long for Veronique to drag Avery to the dance floor, leaving Julianna and Sam at the table just awkwardly looking at each other, Julianna drinking water while Sam was drinking lager. It was quiet for a while between them, aside from the club's music blasting in the background.
"So, Julie," Sam was about to get a conversation started before a commotion and the screech of a familiar female voice caused his and Julianna's head turn towards the source of the commotion. "Oh gods, not again," Sam sighed as he got off the seat and rushed towards the place. Veronique was in a tussle with a girl, and another guy had punched Rhydian in the face, only to be countered with a sucker punch by Jasper. it didn't take long before the bouncer, Hunter, came and "invited" them out politely.
Once outside, Jasper was already asking where to next, with Rhydian at disdain. Avery was also up for the next club, but Sam had a little something boiled up inside. "Venice, Jasp, can't you two at least try not to cause trouble in clubs? It's a miracle they haven't blacklisted us yet," Sam said with a bitter laughter. He knew that the night would be too simple if there's no trouble, but he wished they would save it for until they're ready to go.
Just then, Sam's stomach gave a menacing growl. "Speaking of which, I still haven't had something to eat. Shall we get something to eat first? At the very least?" he asked, while checking Rhydian's nose out. "You alright, mate? It looked kinda swollen," he inquired, checking the injuries but deduced that it was not something nasty. "You'll be walking with a bruised nose, but probably for a day or two. Put some ice when we get back," Sam advised, his hands now back into his pockets.

Julianna smiled weakly as the girls slipped off to the dance floor, her eyebrows quirking with curiosity as Sam finally broke their silence. Ordinarily, Rhydian would be here too. The three of them spent...a lot of time together when the other three were off, being silly. It was nice. Now, though, there was so much to say, so much to catch up on, that she couldn't find the words. She wanted to tell them how glad she was to be with them, and not feel stressed or tired or sore (well, not as sore as usual) or hungry. This break had been particularly stressful, preparing for senior year auditions and showcases and the special roles that were reserved specifically for senior ballerinas. She was excited, but her mother and father had made it painful and ugly. And they'd demanded she get new pointe shoes, to slowly break in this year, because hers were getting...admittedly trashed. Still, her feet hurt just thinking about that. She'd be hobbling around the entire year if she did that. She hadn't wanted to confess to her parents, that she was scared to get a new pair, and sad, because her current shoes were...well, they were an old friend. Her foot size hadn't changed in recent years, so she'd worn the same pair for nearly seven years. They were trusty. She'd had them mended so much, it was a shame to say goodbye. Was it weird to love something you wear on your feet? Oh well.
Ah, anyway, she was here, she was fine, in this loud club with Sam, who seemed about to say something when they both flinched, Veronique's voice making them immediately react. They both knew. "Sam, wait!" she yelped as he took off in that direction, huffing a worried sigh before following quickly behind him. Sure enough, there seemed to be major drama brewing on the dance floor, centralized at a couple she didn't know and her friends. "Rhydian, oh my God!" she gasped as his head snapped to the side, thanks to that guy's fist. This was pretty bad. Before the situation could be diffused, Jasper was there, continuing the fight. Brilliant. Did he think he was helping? He was just going to get hurt too.
Fortunately, the fight was broken up by that bouncer that knew Veronique and Jasper. "I am so sorry, I'm so sorry!" she fussed as her friends took his order and left. She was the last one out, still at a loss, but remembered to give an icy glare to that Paige girl for her friends' sake.
"Are you crazy? What were you thinking? You don't stop a fight by punching someone, Jasper." the words burst from her chest without much planning, but she committed to it, crossing her arms as she regarded Jasper. He was too reckless. "You all are too much." she sighed finally, reverting to her usual catchphrase after drama started with this bunch. "But I'm glad you're okay. We were worried when we heard you, Veronique." Julianna's face softened, and now she turned to Rhydian. "Oh, that's so horrible! What a jerk." she frowned back at the front of the club, her hands fluttering nervously as she hovered, trying to see how bad it was. "You still look pretty, don't worry." she finally said weakly, though her worried eyes made it hard to sell her story.
As they all cooled off, Julianna sighed. She didn't think going somewhere similar would be a good idea. "Ah, I'm with Sam. We should eat. We're all probably hungry, and I think we've had enough surprise for one night." she jumped on the alternative quickly, hoping they could convince the others, who still wanted to party, that this was a better idea.

The sudden hair pulling caught Veronique off guard as the girl was more into verbal abuse and less physical ones. She grabbed her hair to ease the pain before kneeing Paige in the stomach, getting the girl off her was easy with Rhydian’s help but she was attacked once more once he got punched by some jackass. She didn’t have much time to react as she tried to get Paige off her but their fight was quickly finished by the bouncers. “Nice going Jasper,” she smirked at the guy as they were kicked out of the club. That sucker punch was going to hurt for a bit knowing Jasper’s strength. This wasn’t the first and it probably was not going to be the last. Fixing her hair, Veronique smoothly pretended none of that happen and she was just glad her face remained intact unlike Rhydian. She agreed that they should hit another club but it was quickly turned down with an angry Sam and a worried Julianna.
“Oh please, Sam. That totally was not my fault. She just came onto me, I wasn’t even dancing with that arse. It wasn’t my fault that he likes me better,” she flipped her hair haughtily. She did feel bad that Rhydian and they had to get involved especially since it was her fight. She didn’t know why Julianna had to say sorry for them, they didn’t do anything wrong. It was the couple who started the fight. “I swear, those two need some couple therapy,” she laughed bitterly. Veronique mentally sighed as Jasper got admonished by Julianna.
“Alright! We’ll go to the restaurant and patch Rhy bear up so his stuffing doesn’t come out,” she agreed with them even though she already had finger sandwiches. She knew if they went to another club, Julianna would probably strangle all three of them thus she relented and figured food would probably make the hangover a little bit better. “C’mon Avery, you can continue drinking at the restaurant. I’m sure it’ll serve you alcohol,” she tried to convince her friend as she called for the same limo again. They were going to a fancy restaurant which would probably make it less awkward for a limo to drop them off.
-At the restaurant-
With one of her arm wrapped around Jasper and the other around Avery’s waist, Veronique was living up her old habits of touching people without their permission. She was the shortest between the two which made it easier for them to use her as their arm rest. As they entered the restaurant, she sat down next to Rhydian and Sam at the round table. There were candlelights in the middle and the place was dimmed as if the place was supposed to be for couples only. The waitress came over and flirted with Jasper as usual before taking their orders and leaving.
“So Rhyrhy, how’s your face holding up? Want some concealer? You’ll look beautiful and new again if you let me touch you,” she teased him though she did already order a bag of ice as an apology. As that was dropped off, so was their drinks (alcoholic and non) and food. Taking a bite of the pasta she ordered, Veronique faced lit up when she remembered that she left Sam and Julianna alone.
“And love birds, did you guys talk about anything interesting?” she teased both of her friends, knowing quite well they probably didn’t talk much since the commotion probably interrupted their conversation.

As Avery admitted her innocence and Sam was reprimanding Jasper and Veronique for their actions Jasper only grinned, "Oh yeah right, like I'm gonna let some goat just punch my brother." He shook his head, amazed that their friends could still blame them for the fight even though they were simply defending themselves. Then again, that was why he mostly hung out by himself, with Avery or Veronique. Only on occasion would he find himself with his brother, Julianna or Sam without the company of one of the aforementioned two. As Julianna also put her two cents in on the fight Jasper put an arm around her, "I appreciate the concern Princess Juju, but you don't solve a conflict by throwing the first punch either." He said in reference to the douche that had hit Rhydian. They were obviously not the talking type, and Jasper wasn't the type to just let his friends take a hit just because they were too afraid to get hit themselves. As the topic of a restaurant came up Jasper pretending to sigh over dramatically, "What a bunch of wet blankets... We'll just sneak off if it gets to boring, eh Ave?" Jasper nudged Avery playfully as he spoke.
Rhydian on the other hand had, had quite enough of Jasper's attitude and quickly snapped, "Can't you get your head out of your arse for five seconds you tube. We've all had enough fighting for tonight, and I've had enough of your immature shit. Can't you be an older brother for once." Giving a sigh, the younger brother took note of how quickly Jasper's playful expression changed into a much more serious one. "Alright, alright. Relax. No reason to act like your Da." Jasper didn't say much else for the ride to the restaurant, which made Rhydian feel awkward. Thankfully they arrived rather quickly.
At the restaurant Veronique seemed to pull Jasper out of his dampened mood as she wrapped her arm around and Avery going to the table. She sat between Sam and Rhydian though, and Jasper made sure Avery sat between himself and Rhydian, sitting at the end of the booth. The waitress who came by flirted with Jasper, per usual before taking their orders. Then came the topic of Rhydian's face again. Seriously, that idiot probably would have been pummeled more before the bouncers came if Jasper hadn't decided to step in. Rhydian took the ice pack that came and pressed it to his face lightly, it stung, but he'd rather hurt a bit now than have a swollen face tomorrow. "I think I'll live without having you put make up on me." Rhydian remarked, before adding on, "How's your hair? Did it survive?" Everyone was fawning over Rhydian's punch to the face, but Veronqiue had been attacked too. So he thought he'd show some concern.
As the food came the table became momentarily quiet as everyone took their first bites. Rhydian said nothing as Veronique asked her question, consuming himself with eating his prime rib. Jasper on the other hand was out of his sour mood and back into his normal one, picking at his veal chop before concentrating more on his glass of Jameson on the rocks. Adding his own comment onto Veronique's instigation, Jasper smirked, "Maybe they didn't talk at all." He gave a wink just to assure them about what they were instigating between the two of them, before shooting Veronique a look, "But we better be careful. We might make Rhy jealous with all this talk of Princess Juju with Sam the man." Rhydian loudly placed his fork down at the table shooting Jasper a glare, before taking a sip of water and continuing to eat. Jasper only smirked, "Ooooh... see? Touchy?"

Avery just rolled her eyes and smirked, agreeing with him lightly. “Ah well, if they all hit the hay early we can sneak out and hit thee old bars. You know the ones.” She laughed nudging him back lightly when they decided to go to the restaurant. While she wanted to go out and get more good drinks she had to also admit she was hungry. Hungry as a horse to be honest, and little fancy sandwiches wasn’t going to cut it. She needed some substance, like chicken. Chicken, steak they were all good.
“But alas, it’s two against well everyone else. There better be more booze though.” Avery said sighing defeated, like Jasper. Course she did feel a little off put when Rhydian out right snapped at his brother, though it wasn’t all surprising. Everyone knew they had a shaky relationship but they normally got a long. So to speak, the tension was there though. And the black eye that Rhy had acquired had actually given him a bit more character, not that she wanted to get in the middle of everyone.
Once at the restaurant Avery ordered steak and salad, and of course, she also got some alcohol. “All the alcohol here is so..high and mighty.” Avery frowned before ordering some whiskey this time. No sense complaining about anything. She wasn’t sure why she even said anything at all. Once the orders were placed and brought back to the table, Avery dug in. Only listening to the conversation that was know taking place around her.
People fused over Rhy and Veronquie for the fight that had taken place. Course, Jasper was the one who finished the fight. He seemed fine though and already over his fight with his brother so deciding against commenting on that she went back to eating.
“Oh, I’m sure there had to be some talking’ Avery cut in, commenting on Sam and Jules having some ‘alone time’ though the mere thought made Avery feel a bit bad for Jules. They both felt the same way about boys and relationships. They were troublesome, and to be honest. Scary.
“Jasper I do think you hit a sore spot with Rhydian though, starting to look a little pissed.” She joked earning a glare from the man. “Okay sorry I won’t say anything else. But what are we going to do after eating?” She asked drinking the rest of her drink and ordering another. “Hey Jasper how’s your drink, haven’t had that before. Mind if I steal some?” she asked smirking.

Julianna sighed in relief as they agreed to go get dinner instead of trying to find another party. Well, Jasper and Avery joked about sneaking out later, but she could ignore that and savor this sort of win. With this bunch, it counted.
She smiled weakly as Jasper refuted her scolding, giving up the fight already. It was not worth it, to argue with him, of all people, about this kind of thing. He...liked to challenge the whole right/wrong thing. She tugged at her blazer as Veronique defended herself, and shrugged. "Well, can you blame her for thinking of you as a threat?" she joked, her nerves soothing as they walked further and further away from the building.
Tensions rose again during the drive, between Jasper and Rhydian. Rhydian was ticked off with his brother's fooling around, which was understandable, especially since his face probably hurt. Still, though, his angry outburst made Jasper clam up in response, making the energy in the vehicle drop drastically. Awkward. Julianna could definitely understand, though. Both sides. She was pretty sure this was part of why she and Rhydian got along so well, because they both had brothers who were...exhausting. Thankfully Jasper wasn't quite so useless, but the feeling still seemed to be there in Rhydian. It wasn't easy, being the younger sibling to someone like that. And yet, unlike Julianna, Rhydian started just as many arguments with his brother, while she tended to ice Marco out when he pushed her too far. They weren't exactly the same, she reminded herself. She shouldn't assume anything about their relationship. It had to be exhausting, spending so much time with your brother. She had no clue. She hadn't spent much time with her brother since she was younger.
-at the restaurant-
Julianna was quiet as she pored over the menu, thinking hard on what she wanted. A little crease formed in her brow as she thought, as if she was taking a midterm, but she finally smoothed her face when the waitress took their orders. After wasting their time flirting with Jasper, no surprise. Honestly, that was just poor service for the rest of them. In any case, she'd elected to get a grilled chicken salad, which seemed healthy and plenty of food. She had to admit, handling her own diet was not easy right off of a break. When she was home, her mother cooked for her, obviously, and she was entirely on top of the menu. She made almost every meal, and was careful to keep her on track. She needed all the right nutrients, vitamins, and the exact right amount of calories. Not too many, lest she get soft, or too few, lest she burn them too quickly. It was...precise. Now, she was out of practice doing this herself. Fortunately, the drink part was easy. Water. Water. Water.
Julianna's eyes widened at Veronique's teasing words, her face blossoming crimson again. "Agh, Veronique, please stop!" she begged, squishing her cheeks in an effort to cool them. Her jaw dropped at Jasper, making it worse, and her temperature rose again. "Jasper! Please!" her voice was rising in pitch, nearly squeaking at the end, and she buried her face in her hands. To her immense relief, Avery came to her rescue, sort of, and she lifted her head to smile gratefully at her. Her eyebrows turned up in concern, worrying that Rhydian was still upset with his brother, but she figured she ought to take their teasing as gracefully as possible to prevent him from getting actually angry with his brother over something silly. "Ah, you're all horrible. What do you really think of me, with that kind of talk?" she narrowed her eyes accusingly, but giggled. "Anyway, as if we had any time to say a word before you troublemakers got us kicked out." she redirected the teasing, arching a brow at Veronique sarcastically.

Sam could only smile bitterly at Veronique and Jasper's jabs at his comment, obviously not going to learn anything from this event. It was not entirely their fault, truth be told, but he was not there to see the whole thing. In proximity, the only thing he saw was Jasper throwing the punch, and even if that was payback to what the guy did to Rhydian, it was out of place. Or perhaps it was something the Westerners do, as Sam never saw this thing happening in Malaysian clubs. Or it was him that was mellow.
The majority agreed with food, and so everyone hopped onto the limo again and headed towards some fancy restaurant. Throughout the journey, conversation was kept minimum, or none at all until they've arrived at their destination, probably because the previous incident had left a dent in the night. Sam was not complaining. At this time of the year, he actually appreciated the quiet.
-----at the restaurant-----
The dinner served that the restaurant looked fancy enough, and reputation for the restaurant seems to be high. A local highly rated one as well, so Sam just took a look at the menu and decided that he would have the grilled trout with butter herb sauce, and a side dish of grilled vegetables and baked potatoes.
"I think Venice would survive with her hair pulled. I swear, whenever I vacuum or sweep the floor, her hair is the only thing I pick up," Sam joked as he took a swing of mead. "No, seriously, why don't you trim you hair a little? I think you'll look better that way," he commented just as his trout came.
"Needs a little more salt in my opinion," Sam made his first comment habitually as he cut off a piece of fish and placed it in his mouth. Like Veronique pointed out previously, Sam tends to make comments on food whenever it was not him that was preparing it. Just something of a career hazard, he supposed.
"For the record, I was about to start flirting with ol' Julie here before you guys whacked it up," Sam laughed at his joke, until Julianna demanded the others to stop and Rhydian made an apparent move that Sam learnt to just drop it. "Alright, stop picking on Julie," he stopped laughing while putting on a serious face. "As I was asking before I was interrupted, Julie," Sam turned to Julie, intending to finish his question. "Any thoughts as to where you'll be heading after graduation? This is our last year afterall," he pointed out as he put another piece of fish into his mouth and washed it down with a swig of mead.

At the mention of her hair, Veronique instinctively touched it and smoothed out the already perfect hair. “Please, she would have to do so much better if she wants to damage my hair,” Veronique responded flippantly more so because her hair is slightly a touchy subject. It’s her hair for goodness sake, she has been taking care of it since she was probably born. She could imagine herself holding her head sadly when she was born because she was a bald child or something. Eating her pasta as she watched Julianna burn up, she was glad the girl didn’t pass out though it would have been a great scene to see the guys all rushing in to carry her. Dabbing her lips lightly, Veronique was happy that Jasper left behind the dampen mood Rhydian so kindly had put him in.
“I think it’ll be a draw if Rhydian and Sam fights it out. Our Julianna probably can’t choose between them,” Veronique added in with a laugh though she stared at Avery with curious inquiry. “Avery love, do you want a sip of that or do you really want a sip of something else? Look at you Jasper, already getting one of the tough ones to fall for you,” she teased suggestively, laughing at her words before Sam reverted the conversation back to her hair.
Giving him an offended scoffed, Veronique put her fork down and pursed her lips as she perused him up and down. No one talks about her hair like that and gets away with it. “Gee Sam, if I told you I like you better bald, will you be a sweetie and shave it off for me?” she snapped back patting her hair. It was not falling off, she refused to believe it. “And Julianna’s hair is long too! Gosh Sam, such a hater. Just because my name isn’t Julianna or is it just Julie,” though she quickly stopped realizing that Julianna could probably overheat at any moment now.
The subject soon focused on Julianna and future will caused Veronique to feel completely uncomfortable though she tried not to show it. It wasn’t something she wanted to listen to and like Veronique, she tried to make a classic way out. “Excuse me ladies, gents, I have a guy to catch,” she winked at her friends, standing up and heading towards the back entrance that was hidden from their view.
“Dear god, I’m going to be a bum for the future,” she whispered to herself, holding out her phone and silently hoping that the conversation will end in the next fifteen minutes or so or god help her, she’ll actually find a guy to catch. It’s ridiculously cold outside and she was wearing a dress! Though the fresh cold air felt really cool and as much as she loves her friends, talking about the future was one thing she tried to avoid. She didn’t want to know what they were going to do in the future especially when it means separation and utter darkness for her.
Then it instantly hit her that she was out here, utterly alone in the dark and if there was something Veronique hates the most, it was the dark. “It’s okay, there’s no monsters, there’s no monsters, happy thoughts,” she whispered and chanted to herself, covering her face with her eyes as she crouched down against the wall. “The guy from history class last year was cute,” she said trying to evoke the image of him. "Think I have his number," her face instantly brighten up, forgetting her fear as she scrolled down her list of friends on her phone.

Jasper only chuckled as Julianna got more and more flustered. Seriously it was pretty entertaining to see the girl get so worked up. Jasper was certain that at some point in their friendship he had made it his life goal to get the girl so flustered she finally dropped that polite act. He wasn't sure if he would ever get to accomplish that, but it was entertaining to watch her squirm either way. Rhydian remained quiet on the other hand, relieved when Avery asked Jasper for a sip of his drink. Thankfully the conversation would be diverted from there. She also inquired as to where they would be headed after eating. Rhydian couldn't really say he was up for any more shenanigans that night. He was certain Jasper would be though. And he was right. Sliding his drink toward Avery the scotsman smirked a little, "Normally I'd be drinking my own stuff, but this is a whiskey the Irish have done right." Jasper mentioned to Avery about his glass of Jameson.
It was true. On a normal basis he would keep to good ol' Scotch Whisky from his homeland, but tonight he felt like drinking something that was in his opinion, sweeter. Thus an Irish Whiskey was called for, and Jameson was the only sort of the stuff that he would touch. As mention of what to do afterward came up, Jasper smirked toward Avery, "It'll have to be something epic of course!" Sam on the other hand had other ideas for the conversation and bummed it out with the topic of what they would do after graduation. "Really Sammy boy, you just know how to bring down the mood don't you?" Jasper teased before getting out of his seat, just shortly after Veronique did. "School hasn't even started yet, so I'm out of here for this bullshit." He started before going outside for a smoke. He had no problem with the fact he planned on nothing for after Graduation, but the whole point of them coming out tonight was because it was the last day of vacation before school. Why would anyone want to talk more about school? Plus it seemed a heavy topic with at least half the people at the table.
Heading outside, Jasper lit the cigarette he had pulled out from the holder in his pocket, before looking around and spotting Veronique off to the side crouching down looking at her phone. "Well, what have we got here? Trying to catch a wee man are you?" Jasper asked in reference to the fact that she was squatting low to the ground, before doing the same next to her.
Meanwhile back inside Rhydian continued with his food shaking his head, "Guess that question wasn't really a topic of interest." Rhydian quietly stated before looking at the other three remaining at the table for now. He knew that at least he, Sam and Julianna had a good idea of what their plans were, but Rhydian knew Julianna got anxious when thinking about all the things she had to achieve to get to where she wanted to be. Or where her parents wanted her to be. Or both. He wished Sam had picked some other moment to ask such a question. "Are we really going to do something after this?" Rhydian was worried that the sudden shift in mood would only encourage Veronique, Avery and Jasper to suggest going somewhere else to lighten up and even more so because they were graduating this year.

“Oh shut up. The only love for me is the one found in a glass that will make me regret every decision I made the night before.” Avery growled back at Veronique who teased her about taking a sip of Jaspers whiskey. There wasn’t any harm in trying new stuff, and if she remembered right from last year he had a pretty good taste in this department. Taking a sip she shivered before giving it back, clinking it on the table. “Damn, that’s really sweet. Your right the Irish did make it good.” She joked before shutting her mouth as Sam commented on Veronique’s hair. Damn that was a touchy subject and she wasn’t sure why he would even say that.
Even Avery, who wasn’t a very feminine female had to admit that you don’t bring up cutting hair to a women. Unless they say it first, course he was trying to be nice in a Sam=like-way, but still didn’t give him any merit for the decision. At least it kinda cut off the teasing of Jules though, she was getting the normal colour back in her cheeks from having Jasper tease her so bloody much. No matter though, that’s what it was’ teasing. Hopefully anyways.
Then suddenly, the conversation was thrown a curve ball. The future. A topic that most of the people at the table hated to think about. Avery included. The future was a bloody pain in the ass and if she could Avery wouldn’t ever think about it. After school was a vast void that scared her, but unlike her two friends who seemed to bail on her, she stayed and held her ground.
“Future really? School hasn’t started yet guys. Let’s pretend we are still on summer break and not even think about it.” She grumbled finishing her meal off and her drink. “Oh and for the record Sam, while I remember don’t you ever touch my sides again. I appreciate the save at the Club but my bubble is always, and when I say always, I mean always up.” Avery said giving him a raised eyebrow and slight frown. “But again thanks for the save.” She added to make sure he knew she did appreciate it, not that she had needed saving but he pretended to be gay for her, she had to make sure that the proper social standings were accomplished.
“Well, we could I mean the night is still young. But judging from the way the night has gone we probably shouldn’t.” Avery sighed stretching her arms above her head.

Julianna fanned her face desperately, trying vainly to bring her temperature back down to where it belonged. Good Lord, she'd forgotten what it was like to be around them, she'd gotten comfortable in the peaceful home life. Well, there wasn't any room for easing back into the groove of things. They just dove in, didn't they? Looking up in mild confusion when she heard her name from Veronique, she lifted a hand to her hair self-consciously. She'd missed the majority of the discussion, but she was a bit confused as to why Sam should shave his head bald...
"Sam, do not encourage them." she scolded him as he risked getting an even bigger rise out of them all. They were finally letting the darn subject drop, she didn't think she could handle much more joking at her expense just yet. The topic shifted quickly, though, with Sam asking her about her plans. She was startled, but any knee-jerk reaction she might've had was thankfully overshadowed by Veronique's swift exit, soon followed by Jasper. She couldn't say she was surprised those two bailed, and certainly didn't feel hurt. It wasn't like they didn't want to know her plans, but they weren't really...as defined as the rest. Avery had art, Sam cooked, Julianna danced, Rhydian was a whiz in the classroom... although she felt stressed and scared, at least she felt...sure. Sure of what would become of her. Or at least she had a tiny clue. Soon, unfortunately, things would be even more out of her hands than they had been recently. She couldn't force a dance company to invite her.
Julianna had cycled through her burst of panic at the mention of moving on while the others had watched Jasper and Veronique go, so now she could smile mildly at the question. "Ah, that is a bit sudden. We do have the full year together still, right?" she laughed, shrugging. "But I suppose I do have a lot of things lined up for earlier in the year...ah, well, I thought it was obvious. I'll dance, with hopefully the best company that wants me. My parents have their sights set on The Royal Ballet, but it's not exactly easy to get into. I think they're coming to scout me in a month or two..." she trailed off, taking a swift drink of water. She'd heard nothing but statistics about acceptance from her parents the last month she'd been with them. She knew what was on the line, she just had to perform. Easy enough, right? Arlington had an impeccable dance program, and if she was going to be invited to join the Royal Ballet, a fantastic program in England was probably the best place to be. Still, the work they did was more rigorous than she could even fathom. It seemed...exhausting, but she knew her parents would be so thrilled to see her with them. What was the point of coming to England if she didn't dance in their Royal Ballet, her father would ask. He was right, probably. She just had to keep working hard and nail all of her performances.
"But, hey, I think everyone is right. You'll hear me babble about all this again and again as it gets closer, so maybe we shouldn't bring it up so early." she said quickly, thankful that Avery and Rhydian were ready to shift discussion to their plans after this. "I don't think going out somewhere else is a good idea...I'm really just surprised we haven't caused a fuss here yet. Probably shouldn't press our luck, and classes start tomorrow." she reminded them, finally starting to pick apart her food. "I hope those two know that they should come back and eat..." she mused, worried they'd get into trouble and miss out on their food while it was hot.

To Sam, the end result of his action justified his means of performing it. Now that he went and done it, there was no turning back now. Two of them left the table, clearly evading the question, while Avery chose to sit at the table rebuking him about what he did earlier. "Understood, ma'am," he just said as he finished his fish and took a swig of mead.
"At least all talking and teasing of Julie comes to an end," Sam commented in response to Rhydian's remark. "That was not supposed to be something so pleasantly had. While the three of us have something in our minds, the other three aren't, Ave included. I was merely reminding all of us to remember that this is our last year, so cherish it for heaven's sake. Don't bloody forget about it," Sam said in comply with Avery, when a sudden tear dropped from his eyes. Wiping it off immediately, Sam raised his head when Julianna replied his question.
"That would be marvelous, Julie," he commented while finishing his mead as well. "Royal Ballet, eh? I hear it's a world-class type academy. Good for you, Julie," Sam congratulated Julianna for her good fortune. "And I agree. Classes start tomorrow, so we'd better not push our luck further than we need to," he said as he merely leaned backwards on his chair and just watched the others finish off their dinner.

Veronique was startled when a familiar voice spoke behind her though at the same time, slightly comforted since she now had a companion. Turning her head around before turning her whole body, Veronique grinned at the man crouching next to her. “The only man I’m trying to catch is you, so far so unsuccessful.” She wouldn’t say she was surprised knowing that Jasper came out as well since future talks are just kind of boring. And she would have to hear Jules talk about her bright future, then Sam, then Rhydian, and then Avery which though is pleasant, isn’t really her cup of tea. The second thing she noticed was the cigarette and being the person who never really judge others for what they do to themselves, she’s quite judgmental when it comes to herself though.
“Hm,” she started crunching her nose as she tried to say what she wanted to say without sounding like an ass about it. Though knowing Veronique, everything that comes out of her mouth sounds either rude or flirty. She wasn’t going to take his cigarette and stomped on it since that would be rude, thus the girl fanned the smoke away from her. She reached forward, giving him a peck on the cheek as a signature move to show her sign of affection before saying something reprimanding or rude in general. “I love you and all, Jasper but I want to live longer so if you can just, you know, throw that cancer happy thing away. Plus, you know your Princess ‘Juju' wouldn’t want you to be smoking your life away,” Veronique teased, emphasizing on the Juju part since it was his and Jules thing.
Raising her arms up to stretch, Veronique finally got up and looked down at the man crouching down below her. Crossing her arms, she raised an eyebrow before realizing that she was shivering from the cold. She could feel goosebumps on her arms and decided she rather stay inside than freeze out here. “I’m going to head back in before I freeze to death,” Veronique commented, “don’t get anyone pregnant!”
Laughing slightly, she hurried back in, rubbing the sides of her arms and sliding back down classically as she could, hoping they wouldn’t notice she was just outside the whole time. “Well, look like you guys are done with your brilliant future talks,” she said hearing Sam talk about how they better not push their luck. She didn’t really have a preference whether when they should leave but if they all decided now rather than later, she was up for it. Plus, it was getting way too dark and Veronique did not like the darkness.
